Talisker Lovat Wool Check Fabric

With beautifully subtle variations in the traditionally woven colours, this wool check tweed has been exclusively woven for Jim Lawrence by Lovat Mill. It is simply stunning and this predominantly soft green colourway evokes a feeling of beautiful Scottish skies, rivers and lochs.

We have teamed up with Lovat Mill, based in the Scottish Border town of Hawick and known as the Home of Tweed, where the artisan craftsmen follow in the footsteps of generations of tweed makers to create beautiful, contemporary tweeds. Taking inspiration from the rich colours of the surrounding countryside, Lovat Mill design and weave estate and country tweeds of the highest quality. Incorporating between five and forty individual colours to produce a range of specially selected herringbones and checks that will add subtle reflections of the natural world to your home’s interiors.

We strongly recommend that you order a swatch before ordering any of our fabrics to help you decide if it is right for you.

Colour variations can occur between different batches of fabric and is to be expected with any natural fibre.  If you are using this fabric more than once in the same room, we recommend ordering the whole amount needed in one go to ensure that it comes from the same batch (this includes matching to any shades previously purchased from us). If this is not possible, please ask for a stock cutting from the current batch and check the fabric on receipt as, once cut to length, our fabrics are non-returnable unless faulty.
